This was one of the most important projects I have ever built. This is not my normal style of video but I felt important to publish. I built a device to help my mother remember me and my brother. We live on the other side of the world in Norway and the distance was hard. Mum did not like to admit it but she suffered from Dementia for years. When I made this project, her memory was getting really bad. I just realized I want to do something. Even if that was to just make her smile. Sadly I'm releasing this video in a remembrance of my late mother who sadly passed away 1 year ago. I hope it touches you in the way I hoped and that you to go make something for those you love. I turned a giant teddy into a scary, monster, Halloween costume. All in an effort to win my son's affection over @BobbyDukeArts I was out of ideas and needed to compete with bobby's Halloween jack-o-lanterns this year. I struggle but then came up with this idea after searching the dark web. A real DIY project. I made this costume the cheapest way possible. By buying a second hand teddy and using pretty much whatever I had in the garage. This is on of the scariest things I've ever built to date. I hope you enjoy the video. I built this mechanically dimming lamp that broke all the rules, because I hated the flicker of LED's when you dim them down. Using the ideas of a camera aperture or iris I designed and built this one of a kind lamp to mechanically dim light rather than electronically. Hope you all enjoy the shenanigans.
